2016 Year in Review: Favorite Bride + Groom Portraits

Not sure how we’re 2 days away from Christmas.  Really and truly, I feel like I shot Mary and Ross’s wedding in April and then blinked, and here we are.  Pour yourself some Bailey’s and cocoa and let’s reminisce. These are some of my favorite bride and groom portraits from 2016.

The images immediately below were actually shot in 2015 but it was a New Year’s Eve wedding, so close enough.  The second photo is my favorite photograph I’ve ever taken–ever.  It was absolutely freezing, and we were just wrapping up Michelle and Michael’s portraits on an abandoned floor of this warehouse when I saw them silhouetted against the window and the last rays of sunlight illuminating Michelle’s dress.  I asked them if they would mind slow dancing for a minute and then I think I let out a very high-pitched squeal and declared it to be my favorite photograph ever.  The title still remains.
