Last month I photographed Emily and Brian’s wedding at the fabulous 514 Studios in Minneapolis.
The morning started off with breakfast and mimosas as Emily and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent’s condo. Emily doted on her and Brian’s dog, Foxy Roxy, who happens to be the most. loved. dog. in. America. I’m not exaggerating–Brian is OBSESSED with this dog, it’s really very sweet to see.
Emily and Brian chose to do a first look, and picked the most perfect location for it: the rooftop of the IMS building.
The wedding party hopped on a party bus and we stopped along some of Brian and Emily’s favorite MPLS spots for photos including a stop at Monte Carlos for a quick drink before the ceremony.
Even though they had done a first look and spent the afternoon together taking portraits, Brian still choked up when he saw Emily walking down the aisle.
A friend serenaded the couple and guests with an a cappella version of Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love which is when this hormonal pregnant woman (yours truly) also got really choked up. It was amazing!
Brian breaking the glass…Mazel tov!
And of course, we snuck out for sunset photos down the block before their reception kicked off.
After dinner, Emily and Brian danced to Talking Heads (another excellent choice). It was a beautiful, emotional day and I was so honored to be a part of it. Congratulations, Emily and Brian! xoxo
Second shooter was the always amazing Heather Joy Photography!
