I want to take a minute to talk about the albums I offer my wedding clients.  I was a bride only a few years ago, so I remember the thoughts and questions I had regarding albums and their value.  It went something like this…Holy shit, the album is how much!? Is that really worth it?  Can’t I just take my images and make my own blurb book or something? If not,  I’ll probably be satisfied with just the digital images anyway.

Here’s what I can tell you now.  Yes, albums are expensive and YES, they are so so worth it.  Your album is going to tell the story of your wedding day in a way no other medium can.  It is going to stand the test of time and the evolution of technology. Think of your wedding album as an HEIRLOOM.  It’s going to be passed down and shared with your family for generations.  Can you say the same about your…hard drives? Facebook albums? DVDs?

And as for making your own album, I don’t knock it.  Just keep in mind that as a professional, I have relationships with labs and vendors that are going to produce only the highest quality prints, canvases and albums, and they only work with professional photographers.

Get an album and be happy.  I work with a company I am super passionate about.  I promise their books will look baller on your coffee table or bookshelf.
