Kaciya and Zong were married last month at the Bunker Hills Event Center in Coon Rapids.
I loved Zong’s reaction during their first look-he clearly also thought she looked stunning!
I always tell my clients that any jitters they have will melt away after the first look and they’ll feel like a million bucks. It’s the perfect time to pop the champagne before starting portraits for the day.
Kaciya and Zong’s portrait session fell during midday with a lot of direct sun so we made the most out of every square inch of shade on the Bunker Hills golf course. These are some of my favorite bride and groom portraits yet!
The bouquets and boutonnieres were a DIY project, and the flowers came from The Bouqs.
Kaciya and Zong’s ceremony was my favorite part of the day. Kaciya was the first of her (six!) siblings to get married, so this wedding was a very big deal for her family. Emotions were running high as she and Zong read their vows and exchanged rings.
Shoutout to my second shooter for the day, Lauren, for grabbing all these detail shots in and around the venue while I finished up family portraits.
