Ok. I shot Jeanne and Nate’s wedding at Aria last Saturday. Now, I have known Nate’s family for quite some time–[his sister Janelle was my roommate in college and is one of my besties, hey boo!]– and over the years his parents have shown me such generosity and kindness (Mama Julie’s lasagna, helllooooo), that I felt like a guest at this wedding, not just the photographer. I can’t thank the Olunds and Matres enough for their hospitality, seriously. Jeanne and Nate planned a stunning wedding, there’s no question about that, and as a photographer I always appreciate attention to detail. However, what struck me most was the love and affection between these two people. It was electrifying. It was contagious. It was so beautiful. Jeanne and Nate, thank you for choosing me to document this day. It was so special and I was honored to witness it and try to capture every moment, every emotion. You guys are the real deal. Congratulations and all my love.
Jeanne bought her bridesmaids these adorable robes from Pretty Plum Sugar, and they made for excellent getting ready photos! Shoutout to Sabreena and Amber from Creative Beauté Agency for making the girls look so pretty.
Can we talk about this venue for a sec? I could shoot here all day. There is just something about this type of venue–the brick, the light, the warehouse feel–that I gravitate towards. Not to mention these AMAZING decorations–the garlands, vines and ceremony chandelier, courtesy of Danielle at Studio Fleurette. This is my cup of tea, for sure. Special thanks to the staff at Aria and Fab Event Design for day of coordination and pulling these details off seamlessly. I hope to be able to work with you again in the near future.
Alex of Instant Request had these guys on the dance floor ALL. NIGHT. LONG. No, really.
Congratulations Jeanne and Nate!
