Allie and Zach were married last month at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. They were referred to me by both a good friend and former clients, which just makes my heart burst with gratitude. We held all of our pre-wedding meetings over beers and apps at a cozy wine bar in South Minneapolis, and Allie and I were able to commiserate about our significant others’ obsessions with Star Wars. (Paul is a fan, Zach might be a Jedi). Ideal clients, right here.
Allie and Zach chose to do a first look on the steps of the library before we started their formal portraits for the day.
Sadie’s Floral did Allie and her bridesmaid’s bouquets. I thought they perfectly complemented Allie and her girls’ pale gray palette.
Zach looking dapper and classic with his guys…
We just happened to time Allie and Zach’s portraits around golden hour and the light reflecting off the stone architecture of the library was simply magic.
These guys are geniuses if only because of the brilliant idea that they had to solve the clinking glass/kissing dilemma…If guests wanted them to kiss, they had to answer either a Star Wars or a Friends trivia question. It was perfect.
Allie and Zach, I loved getting to know you and work with you over this past year. You guys practically lit and took this last photo yourselves 😉 Best wishes and all my love, xo.
