2021 is bustling for this Minnesota wedding photographer! And I was so excited to kick off the season with this sweet wedding which happened to be rescheduled for my own anniversary. After postponing their 2020 wedding, Missy and Matt were finally married in June at the Minneapolis Golf Club. The couple did a first look before their ceremony and were able to have their dog Mabel stop by for a quick visit. We photographed Missy and Matt again at sunset for some really beautiful portraits at the end of the night. Missy wore a gorgeous beaded Stella York gown. When I asked her what her inspiration was for her wedding, she said timeless and romantic. I’d say she nailed it! The dusty lavender roses in her flowers were a perfect match for her bridesmaids dresses from Azazie. Matt the the groomsmen were decked out in The Black Tux. It was a scorching 99 degrees but the wedding party were such good troopers when it came to photographing outside in the heat. A highlight of the day was Missy and Matt’s choreographed first dance, complete with dips and lifts. It was so sweet and they had everyone on their feet, ready to party well into the night.
