Emily and Mark held a small, yet sophisticated wedding for 75 of their closest family and friends at Birch in Milwaukee. The couple met at the hospital where they both work.  They wanted their wedding to feel like an intimate dinner party in an Italian garden. Check out their Villa Terrace engagement session.

Milwaukee Flower Co. provided all the amazing florals for the day.  I was in love with Emily’s bouquet! After their first look, we took portraits at Lake Park.  Because they didn’t have a wedding party, we were able to finish an hour ahead of schedule.  Emily and Mark were grateful for the extra time before the ceremony to have a quiet moment alone.

The couple rented out Birch for both their ceremony and reception space.  And again, Milwaukee Flower Co. was able to transform the restaurant beautifully for this intimate ceremony setup.

 

Guest enjoyed cocktail hour outside with passed hor’s d’oeuvres, wine and live music.

 

For dinner, the newlyweds and their guests were treated to an eight course meal, each with a wine pairing.  Afterwards, family and friends took turns toasting the couple before Emily and Mark did their first dance under their gorgeous floral installation.
